In 2024-2025, Protection Officer (PO) recertifications will take on a more hands-on approach. Moving away from simulated assessments in controlled environments, the focus will now be on real-world evaluations.
Rail Safety Coaches will assess POs directly in the field, observing their performance during live worksite protection scenarios. This shift ensures that POs demonstrate their skills and competency in actual conditions, enhancing safety and effectiveness across the network. Stay prepared for a more dynamic, practical recertification experience!
