Introduction

NRF 007 Pilot Staff Ticket is used during pilot staff working to authorise occupancy of a pilot staff section if there is to be a following movement.

Rail traffic may travel on the authority of a Pilot Staff Ticket only after the Driver or Track Vehicle Operator has sighted the pilot staff or the half pilot staff (half-staff).

Numbering forms

Qualified Workers issuing a Pilot Staff Ticket must number the form consecutively on a pad-by-pad basis.

Note

A Pilot Staff Ticket must not be used to authorise travel to a nominated location within a section and return to the entry end.

Item 3 – Authority

Give clear details of the authorised travel limits as locations in the direction of travel.
