The Network Standard NS-0923 has been updated to clarify:
- that the Rail Industry Safety Induction (RISI) is an industry induction
- that RISI is obtained by successfully completing the TfNSW‑authorised Safely Access the Rail Corridor (SARC) training
- the RISI requirements if a person does not hold a valid Safeworking certification for:
- employees
- contractors and visitors
- how to determine the requirements of RISI
- the RISI requirements:
- inside a stabling yard, maintenance centre or depot
- outside a stabling yard, maintenance centre or depot
