We’re excited to announce that the Sydney Trains Protection Officer Network Familiarisation (PONF) Pack for the North Region is now live on RIW! This essential learning includes three modules and a quiz, designed to support and enhance track protection knowledge.
What's Included?
- Three Learning Modules – Covering key safety principles, operational procedures, and regional-specific requirements.
- Quiz – A final assessment to reinforce understanding and ensure competency.
- Scenario-Based Training – Practical examples and case studies relevant to the North Region to improve decision-making in live rail environments.
- Filmed Content – Visual demonstrations to provide real-world context to track protection scenarios.
Upon completion, this training will be recorded in your RIW profile as a two-year refresher, ensuring you stay up to date with best practices. The course is currently free for the next four weeks, so be sure to complete it by the 31st March while available at no cost!
