This SafeTracks provides important safety reminders and guidance to help ensure workers understand and comply with the requirements for safely accessing and working within the Rail Corridor.
Individuals are reminded that:
- You should consider how your presence within the Rail Corridor may be perceived by Drivers or Track Vehicle Operators
- You should only walk in the Danger Zone when moving between safe places or when you need to place or remove protection
- If a practicable alternative is available, it must be used instead of walking in the Danger Zone
- Before entering the Danger Zone, make sure you can clearly see any approaching rail traffic and stay alert at all times.
