Rail Industry Worker (RIW) Card for Gold Card Contractors
Transport for NSW (TfNSW) has transitioned RISI-qualified rail contractors who work on the Sydney Trains network from the current TfNSW Gold Card to the National Rail Industry Worker (RIW) Card.
Contractors who currently hold a Gold Card must obtain a Rail Industry Worker (RIW) card issued by Onsite Track Easy (administered by Pegasus) with the “TfNSW – Operator” role. The deadline for this is 30 May 2016. Your Gold Card will not be recognised after this date.
The valid RIW Card can be a blue version (Rail Safety Worker) or a green version (Rail Industry Worker). The RIW Card must contain a valid “TfNSW – Operator” role as well as the required safeworking role/s.
